About CyberEarth

BDPA of Greater Washington, D.C. (bdpadc.org), an information and communications technology (ICT) local community trade association, launched an Earth Day themed technology and cyber career summit in 2017 (#CyberEarth17). The annual tech summit allows young IT professionals, or those interested in ICT career opportunities currently attending College, Community College, Vocational Technology, High School, JROTC, and GED programs, to establish new relationships, launch tech start-ups, and partner with Industry.

Participating industry and government executives, information technology (IT) experts, and cybersecurity professionals serving as mentors or presenters are invited each year to present round-table or fire-side workshops with regional mission-partners to new BDPA Student Members, transitioning veterans, returning citizens, graduate students, and general audiences to discuss emerging technologies across Air, Land, Sea, Space, and Cyber domains.
